  • What ages do you serve in the center? 

    Downtown Christian Academy serves children from infant (six weeks) through 5th grade.

  • What are your hours of operation? 

    Monday-Friday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm

  • Non-refundable Fees:                

    $150 New Student Registration

    $ 200 Annual Enrollment for each school year

  • Age Classifications

    Infant - 6 weeks to one year of age.

    One Year Old - Walking 12 to 24 months

    Two Year Old - Turning 2 on or before September 1

    Three Year Old - 3 years old on or before September 1

    Four Year Old - 4 years old on or before September 1

  • Payment and Discount Guidelines

    The non-refundable registration and enrollment fees must be paid at the time the child's application is submitted to the school.

    Families with more than one child enrolled with receive a 10% multiple child discount.  The discount applies to the lowest tuition rate.

    A 5% discount is given to families who pay the tuition on an annual basis.

    Annual tuition payment is due at the time of registration. Monthly tuition payments are due by the first of each month. If payment is not received by the due date a $35 late fee will be added.

    Available payment options are automatic withdrawal, money order, credit card, and check. There is a $36 fee for returned checks.

    There will be a $5 per minute late pick-up fee if a child is not picked up by 5:30 pm.

    There may be additional activities and events throughout the year that will require additional fees such as in-house field trips and school pictures.

  • Do you have a uniform policy?

    Students who are in age two and up need to wear a blue polo with the embroidered DCA logo with khaki or blue pants. We have shirts available for purchase. Please call or see our front desk for more information.

  • Do you provide breakfast and snacks at the center?

    Meals are catered by Mom Chef. Menus are available for your review at the center or online. Substitutions are available through Mom Chef. These also include a gluten-free, dairy-free, organic and  vegetarian menu. 

  • What types of extracurricular activities do you offer?

    Story Time Soccer:  Offered on Friday afternoons, Story Time Soccer is a fun, educational, age-appropriate, skill and fitness program for 2-5-year-olds. Participants are led through an interactive story to capture their attention and focus. They act out a variety of story scenarios that replicate soccer drills and make them fun!  

    Dance Combo: Offered on Monday morning and afternoon, students will be taught tap and hip-hop. 

    Karate: Students are taught basic karate skills on Friday afternoons. 

    Ballet: Pre-ballet teaches the foundation of ballet on Monday morning and afternoons. 

    Gymnastics: Gross motor skills are encouraged through fitness activities. The class meets each Monday morning and afternoon.

  • What types of classes do you offer?

    Infants - Infants need to feel safe and loved.  Our consistent schedules for eating, sleeping, and playtimes, as well as lots of attention and care, will provide a safe, nurturing environment where they can explore, learn and grow.

    Toddlers - Toddlers learn by doing and our creative, hands-on environment fosters a self-confident love of learning that will last a lifetime.

    Preschoolers - Preschool is a time for learning together.  Individual learners become group participants interacting, communicating and working together in an exciting, fun environment.

    Kindergarten - Kindergarten is a time of discovery and growth. Through structured play, engaging activities, and thoughtful guidance, children develop essential skills in literacy, math, and problem-solving, preparing them for a lifetime of learning and success.

    Elementary - In our elementary program, curiosity meets opportunity. Students expand their knowledge through exploration, collaboration, and hands-on learning in a supportive environment that encourages critical thinking, creativity, and independence
